I noticed that my LJ posts have, in general, gotten shorter or non existent as everyone has moved to Facebook. FB post length, twitter post length, even text message buffer length, all seem to be shortening our ability to pay attention to even a single screen of print. Sad, really, since most important things in life require more thought, more conversation, more attention than a tweet or text can give it.

Feed your brain. Read a book.

No, seriously. Find your glasses, bring down your myriad boxes of books, and read. =)
